Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Parvya is an AI-powered life planner built for busy professionals in India. It is operated by VORTEXCONES, a product studio based in India. By using Parvya you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. What we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and mobile phone number (used for OTP login and SMS alerts).
• Work preferences — work start/end times you set in Settings, used to schedule your daily plan.
• Tasks & family data — tasks, assignments, and family member details you create inside the app.
• Elder care data — names, medications, appointments, and doctor details for elders you add.
• Cycle data — last period date and cycle length, if you choose to enter it. This is entirely optional and is used only to personalise energy recommendations in your daily plan.
• Mood & wellbeing logs — journal entries and mood ratings you submit.
• Usage data — basic analytics such as pages visited and features used, to help us improve the product.

3. How we use your data

• To generate your AI daily plan, task suggestions, and morning briefings.
• To send OTP verification codes and optional SMS alerts to your registered phone number.
• To display your tasks, elder care information, and family load dashboard.
• To improve Parvya's AI models and product features (using anonymised, aggregated data only).
• To contact you about important service updates.

We do not use your data to serve you advertisements.

4. Cycle data — extra care

Menstrual cycle information is among the most sensitive personal data you can share. We store it encrypted in your profile, never display it to anyone else in the app, never include it in AI prompts beyond your own planning context, and never share or sell it to third parties. You can delete it at any time from Settings.

5. Data storage and security

All data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted in Singapore. Firebase applies industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. SMS messages are delivered via Twilio, which is GDPR-compliant. We do not store your OTP codes after they expire (5 minutes).

6. Third-party services

Parvya uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase — data storage and authentication
• Twilio — SMS delivery
• Anthropic Claude API — AI plan generation (your data is sent to Claude only at the moment of generating your plan, and is not retained by Anthropic beyond their standard API terms)

7. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes. Data may be disclosed if required by Indian law or a valid court order.

8. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act) you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Withdraw consent for optional data (such as cycle information) at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@vortexcones.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

Parvya is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Parvya grows. We will notify you via SMS or an in-app notice if changes are material. Continued use of Parvya after notice constitutes acceptance.
